Our mission

As design-build contractor we are responsible for the design and construction of approximately 17 kilometres of double track in Uppsala. The assignment also covers foundations and ducting for around 22 stops, as well as bridges, rectifier stations and other technical infrastructure, plus the rebuilding and construction of streets, walking and cycling paths, and public spaces in both existing and new districts.

Combining NYAB's and Azvi's experience, the works are carried out in close collaboration with the municipality and region in a complex urban environment, where ongoing traffic and high demands on structure, coordination and responsible execution shape the entire project.

We actively work to reduce both carbon emissions and impact on nature, wildlife and water. The assignment will also contribute to future skills in the industry, with the ambition of welcoming around 100 interns during the course of the works.

Together, NYAB and Azvi combine local presence, international experience and strong infrastructure expertise to build a long-term solution that strengthens society.
